About Stepwell

Stepwell does one thing.

We sell a night splint for people whose worst step of the day is the first one out of bed. That's the whole store, on purpose.

Morning heel pain has a simple pattern: overnight, your foot points downward and the tissue along your arch tightens; the first step in the morning stretches it again, and it hurts. A night splint holds your foot near a neutral angle while you sleep, so there's less tightening to undo. It's a low-tech idea that has been around for a long time.

What we tried to fix is everything around it. Most splints are sold like hospital supplies, with a one-line description and no help after you buy. We made ours adjustable at three points, offered it in five colors, wrote a plain-English guide to the first few weeks (The First Step Protocol, free with every order), and made returns easy if it isn't for you.

How we work

  • Free US shipping on every order.
  • 30-day returns, even if you've worn it.
  • Honest timelines. We'll tell you how long shipping takes and what the first nights feel like.
  • No miracle claims. A night splint is a support product, not a cure, and we'll always tell you when it's time to see a doctor.

We're a small, independent shop based in New York. Questions go to hello@getstepwell.com, and a real person answers.
